The 3rd vintage ever produced for Tequila Ocho.
“Las Pomez” is located 2,055 meters above sea level and is named for the town nearby. It is approximately 7 hectares with 20,336 agave plants. As one of the high temps of 24.8ºC and lows at 9.1ºC make for extremely high sugar content in the agave plant.
Tequila Ocho is the first Tequila to be created based on Terroir
“Terroir” is a French concept used in wine culture and refers to the fact that grapes acquire unique characteristics according to the natural influences that surround them. Tequila Ocho is the first tequila that proves that the terroir also exists in the agave. Each expression or vintage of Tequila is made from a single field or ranch of agaves making each vintage different and unique to the one before. In some cases, the fields have been small and so there maybe two different vintages come out in the same year making it even more unique.

It was created in 2007 and was the brain child of Tomás Estes “Official Ambassador of Tequila” in the European Union in collaboration of the Maestro Tequilero Carlos Camarena.
It was made at the original “La Alteña” Distillery, where other brands are produced, such as: El Tesoro de Don Felipe and Tequila Tapatío; which, from 1937 to the present, belongs to the Camarena Family.

NOSE
Sweet molasses, butterscotch and ripe agave. It opens up to cooked pumpking and hints of peppermint.

Faulty products
For products purchased from Drinks Network that may be faulty, damaged (excluding damage caused by misuse), wrongly described or require recall, we will cheerfully refund your money, exchange or, where possible, repair or replace the product.
For some high value products, Drinks Network reserves the right to have the product assessed for acceptable quality prior to discussing a suitable remedy with you.
For products that cannot be assessed via conference call, we will arrange for the product to be sent to the manufacturer (or relevant agent) for assessment. It may be more convenient for you to liaise with the Vendor directly (which may be more time efficient) and can be achieved via Chat on our site. You certainly have that option. Our WeCare Support Team is happy to provide you with their relevant contact details to assist you.
We will ask you for valid proof of purchase when returning a faulty product. We will require the email address that you utilised for your purchase transaction. Some examples of acceptable proof of purchase are your original receipt, tax invoice, a credit card statement clearly showing your purchase at Drinks Network’s or your Drinks Network account statement which can be found in the My Purchases section in your account.

What we stand for?
If your purchase incurred a delivery fee, then we will also happily cover the cost of delivery for the return of a faulty product. We unfortunately do not provide refunds or returns for change of mind purchases.
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
