A very popular Irish Whiskey, especially north of the border. Its popularity is not surprising as its high malt content and well aged components make it a superb drop. Soft and peaty on the nose, full and smooth on the palate with a fine sherry background and sweetish spice on the finish. Distilled and aged in Co. Antrim this is a blend consisting of 75% malt and 25% grain whiskies, the high proportion of the flavoursome malt in the blend gives it weight and richness. The malt used is triple distilled and soft, being given extra smoothness by aging for 8 years in oak casks. The grain spirit used is smoothed by long barrel age, a portion of this being made with unmalted barley. The whiskey was diluted to 40% abv before bottling.
A rich, dark, Irish blend, Black Bush contains a high proportion of triple-distilled single malt, aged in Oloroso sherry casks for around 8-10 years before marriage with the grain. Picked up the top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards 2010. Bushmills Black Bush Irish Whiskey combines a high amount of malt whiskey matured in former Oloroso Sherry casks, with a sweet, batch-distilled grain whiskey. This unique recipe means Black Bush has rich, fruity notes and a deep intense character, balanced by an incredibly unique smoothness. It’s best enjoyed neat, or over ice. Bushmills Black Bush Irish Whiskey matures for up to seven years in sweet bourbon barrels and Oloroso sherry casks. Bushmills Black Bush Irish Whiskey has big, fruity aromas. Sweet cherry flavors leave a lingering, sweet finish when sipping Bushmills Black Bush Irish Whiskey. Black Bush is a versatile whiskey, delicious on the rocks, paired with ginger ale, coca cola, or in cocktails with citrus flavors.
NOSE: Baked apples and spicy malt. A pleasingly mature character to it.
TASTE: Big bodied, slightly oily, with nutmeg and red wine. Sophisticated and assured.
FINISH: Notably long, drying with dark syrup and liquorice notes.

Returns and Refunds Policy
For products purchased from Drinks Network that may be faulty, damaged (excluding damage caused by misuse), wrongly described or require recall, we will cheerfully refund your money, exchange or, where possible, repair or replace the product.
For some high value products, Drinks Network reserves the right to have the product assessed for acceptable quality prior to discussing a suitable remedy with you.
For products that cannot be assessed via conference call, we will arrange for the product to be sent to the manufacturer (or relevant agent) for assessment. It may be more convenient for you to liaise with the Vendor directly (which may be more time efficient) and can be achieved via Chat on our site. You certainly have that option. We will ask you for valid proof of purchase when returning a faulty product. We will require the email address that you utilised for your purchase transaction. Some examples of acceptable proof of purchase are your original receipt, tax invoice, a credit card statement clearly showing your purchase at Drinks Network’s or your Drinks Network account statement which can be found in the My Purchases section in your account.

What we stand for?
If your purchase incurred a delivery fee, then we will also happily cover the cost of delivery for the return of a faulty product. We unfortunately do not provide refunds or returns for change of mind purchases.
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
