Stagg Jr. is a full-on Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey packing plenty of the same characteristics of its older sibling, George T. Stagg (released as part of the revered Buffalo Trace Antique Collection). While it’s a bit younger and a bit more approachable than the aforementioned George T. Stagg, it remains particularly punchy indeed, with this batch being bottled at 67.2% ABV. A few drops of water ought to help open up the flavour profile a bit.
